Course: Creative expression. ART CLASSES FOR KIDS (age 8-12) in Milford co.Donegal - Art: Acrylic Painting - Attendance: 2-7 people - Age group: 8-12 - Lesson duration: 2 hours - Course duration: 4 sessions - Teacher: Tifenn Pouroy (professional artist with a degree) - Course: from fundamentals to deep techniques - Materials are provided by the studio: canvas, paints, waterproof sleeves for painting - Workspace: comfortable class room upstairs - Studio Public liability: insurance, fire extinguishers, emergency exit, first aid bag. - Payment: Cash or card A 2-hour lesson is conducted in an orderly, disciplined manner. During the first hour, students listen to theory presented in an easy-to-understand format and practice with professional support from the teacher. After a short break, they move on to the second hour, where they work on a project of their choice, continuing with the same project for all four lessons. The teacher has a professional approach and a flexible curriculum that students follow in class. She is especially focused on fostering students' interests, so if students prefer learning one technique over another, we will orient them towards that. TOPICS: - Before Modernism - Impressionism - Post Impressionism - Expressionism - Figurative - Cubism - Dada - Surrealism - Intro to abstract - Cartoon shapes - Natural textures Our main goal is to open up kids to art and help to unlock creative expressions for everyone, with skill and knowledge as solid foundations. Lessons suit for any skill level, and are adaptable to everyone. Each lasts 2 hours. We would love to help our students in their own artistic journey, and hope to see them soon.
